New Service - Fitness Nutrition Coaching!
I initially became a trainer because I wanted to help people develop a healthy, positive relationship with both food and exercise. I’m constantly working to move my practice in a direction where I can help my training clients more with nutrition as it relates to their athletic goals. Nutrition is really inseparable from any good training program . From the very onset, it’s important to have a solid understanding of what your body needs to achieve the athletic goals you set for yourself, as well as a solid plan to help you meet those needs on a consistent basis.
Shortly after receiving my personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise, I went back to get my certification as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist. This gave me a deeper understanding of nutrition as it relates athletic goals, how to incorporate this into my personal training services, and how to coach people through setting nutrition related goals and making permanent lifestyle changes.
Up until now, it’s been relatively informal - I’ve given clients advice and material on a case-by-case basis. After hearing how much this informal coaching has helped many clients, I really wanted to develop a more well defined, structured service (that people can sign up for even without training!). It’s finally here - take a look and schedule a free consultation (in person or via facetime, etc)!
